Background

Deuxmoi started as an anonymous Instagram account and quickly became the internet's go-to source for celebrity sightings and real-time pop culture intel, amassing over two million followers. As the audience grew, the platform's limitations became clear. The goal was to build a centralized digital hub that could house its trademark sightings, newsletters, and shopping recommendations all in one place, free from the constraints of social media. Think of it as your group chat's most unhinged gossip thread, living in one beautifully designed app.

Design System

We transformed Deuxmoi's own handwriting into a fully functional custom font, bringing the signature burn book aesthetic to life across the entire app. Every gossip entry feels personal and unmistakably hers. The design extends into the monthly updated Deux Guide, a curated collection of her favorite recommendations on a rotating topic. The app also serves as the largest celebrity spotted restaurant directory in the United States, allowing users to browse, filter, and favorite locations based on real sightings. Every element was designed to feel intimate, addictive, and effortlessly browsable.

Impact

Within hours of launch, the app had already accumulated thousands of downloads. Two years in, 50,000+ registered users return at an 80% session engagement rate, treating the platform as a genuine daily resource. That traction translated to industry recognition: an Official Honoree at the 2025 Webby Awards and a W3 Design Award for Tourism and Travel.
